Is there a way?

Is there a way to convert a file from Design Studio to MTC? I miss the "shadow" feature that comes with many Cricut cartridges.
Is there a way to move the cursor with the up/down/side arrow keys?

There is a shadow feature in mtc. hold down the left mose button and drag it around your item then you should see a blue box of dashed lines go to edit then shape magic and sahadow layer this gives alayer slighly larger and solid if you want it larger pull that layer you just did way from the other item and do the same thing to it as you did before this gives alrger area of a shadow layer.

    Nomem,

There is a way. It is covered in the thread: "Before you buy another cartridge" here: http://make-the-cut.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=430&page=1#Item_0

Thanks again for your help! I did it. I made two shadow layers, so I have three layers total. When I want to cut, should I put each layer in a separate file so that I can change paper color for each layer?

    Nomem,
Check out this thread about making parts of your project invisible so you only cut what you want per page:

    Also : http://make-the-cut.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=613&page=1#Item_0
You can also color each layer a different color to keep them straight, and lock them to show when they're invisible.

You can put your paper in place on your mat the same as on the vurtual mat. That way you can cut all items at once.
