Can't import some .svg files

I have some .svg files that are showing in file explorer as a "Microsoft Edge HTML Document" instead of an svg file and they will not import into Make the Cut. Any help is appreciated!

The means svg file have be set to open with Microsoft edge

Mtc can not open svg file you have to use the import function
