REGISTRATION HELP

My laptop failed and I had to install a new hard drive.  I have tried all available avenues to contact MTC/KNK - support tickets don't work, contact the owner link doesn't work and my original registration code (that I have in hand) will not work either once I downloaded MTC. Can someone tell me what avenue I can take to get help?  Kinda frustrated when I can't put in a support ticket OR use the contact the owner link.

@janet1v - the MTC code can be a pain in the butt. Try opening the Notepad program, and enter it the number in there exactly as it, upper case text, the hyphen no spaces at all, then select and copy that into the registration space. Let me if that works. It should.

When you say registration code, does the number begin with the letters "MTC". Sometime owners confuse the registration number with the original pin number that came with their cutter.  If you only have the original pin, did you get your pin from KNK USA for sure?  Did it come with your cutter?

Sandy makes a good point...there were PIN numbers assigned when you purchased, it would have come on a card with the cutter. That would be used to register the cutter and get a registration key which would activate the MTC program and take it out of DEMO mode. Let us know which of the numbers you have, the PIN (on a card) or the registration key beginning with MTC.

No, the MTC activation pin that came with your cutter is not the registration key. You would have used the activation pin to register and obtain the activation code from the link Liz provided above. However, it sounds like you have already done that in the past so you will not be able to use the activation pin again. If you do not know your registration code, cannot find the original email which was sent with it, and can no longer access it on your old computer your options are going to be limited unfortunately. The developer of MTC has seemed to have abandoned it so you may want to look at purchasing SCAL if you can not find your MTC registration. I don’t know if @SandyMcC might be able to help track down through KNK since it sounds like you purchased a KNK cutter with MTC. Just note however that the owners of KNK have also closed shop and retired.

KNK USA received copies of SOME of the registration emails if Andy had remembered to identify a particular lot of pin numbers as being sold to KNK USA. You'll need to PM your name that was used to register MTC originally and the email address and I can ask Chad to see if you're one of the customers whose email was forwarded to them.
