Why can't I get sharp edges with Signcut pro 1?

Over the last half year, I have made a lot of vinylstickers by making the text in word, then taking it threw Inkscape, so sign cut can read the picture. When I do this, The edges is soft, and not sharp. Now I have a job where they want sharp edges. How do I get that?
When I try to use the text button in Signcut pro 1, it tells me that there is no file in the importfolder. What do I do wrong?

@VinylstickersByJ - welcome to the Make The Cut! support forum where we support users of the software Make The Cut! and it's supported cutters.

This is a Signcut Pro issue, not a Make The Cut! issue. For best support results please contact the support people at Signcut or USCutter which sells and supports Signcut. Start here:

Just as a comment from someone who has been designing with text and other forms of graphics since the mid 90's Word is absolutely the poorest tool to use. I would start in Inkscape to design - you can add vector text to your project. Word is likely exporting a raster image not a vector one, and this is likely the source of your problem - the trace is not rendering straight line. Designing in Inkscape with the text tool, and exporting as SVG ensures that you have a true vector shape which if it has straight lines in Inkscape should in the cutting program as well. Good luck!
Still using MTC but slowly migrating to SCAL. KNK cutters including the Force and Maxx Air continue to be my favourites. Fluent in other cutter languages.

I only  have experience with SignCut Pro 2 but check for a Blade Offset setting in the Cut Out window... wherever you enter other settings, like speed and pressure. It controls how sharp the corners will be in your design and that's based on the blade that's in use.  An appropriate value can range from ~0.2 up to ~0.8.  I would start with 0.4 and see how it looks. Increase if the corners are still too rounded. Decrease if you're seeing little blips at the corners.

Regarding the second question, I have no clue. There IS not text button in SignCut Pro 2... only in SignCut Draw. Is that what you're referencing?
