Importing Textures or patterns - RESOLVED

Hello fellow MTC users

When I import a texture or pattern into a shape it is not centered or positioned as I would like.

Is it possible to reposition the imported texture?

If it is not possible in MTC is it possible with SCAL 5?  (Which I purchased this week but have not

had much of an opportunity familiarize myself with it.)

Thank you for any input you may have.

Positioning texture using the Texture offset setting can be a little tricky

    The method i use is
Using trace function pixel treshold 255 and texturise path enabled
position this texture shape above the shape you which to add texture to
select both the texture and the shape
The shape should have now taken on the texture

Scal has a Pattern Fill feature which includes a preview function
which positioning the pattern does seem easier

Crazy_Mr_Zing  Thank you sooooooooooooooo much.  – It worked like a charm.

I have been struggling with this for over a week.

It never occurred to me to ask on the forum until today.

(Despite the fact that I check in on the forum most days)

Nice to know that there is still some support here.

Thank you to all those that offer support & post files.
