Cutting of vinyl pasted over a sheet metal

AdityaAditya Member Posts: 1
I have a sheet metal with vinyl pasted over it. I have to cut a profile over that vinyl sticker so that it can be used as a masking for sandblasting on that sheet metal.

Note: It is very difficult to pre-cut a vinyl and paste it.

Please advice a process for it.

@Aditya - do you not have transfer paper? Transfer paper is used to pick up the cut vinyl so that it can be smoothly applied to the surface you want it on. Here is a video:

I have no idea how you will accomplish what you want to, it sounds way too manual for my liking, LOL! I would cut the pattern from the vinyl and then apply and then sandblast.
Still using MTC but slowly migrating to SCAL. KNK cutters including the Force and Maxx Air continue to be my favourites. Fluent in other cutter languages.
