Skipping middle section area on large files

I am using MTC with a Mac.  Often, when I have a group of text repeated several times, the machine will cut some at either end, but skip the middle area, and leaving a diagonal line through that area, rendering the vinyl wasted.  Sometimes I have a short text repeated maybe 12-20 times when it does this.  the only way I've been able to work around it is the delete several copies of the text.  It's very annoying.  I'd prefer it didn't do this at all, but if I could at least know before hand that this will happen, then I wouldn't waste so much vinyl.
Anyone familiar with this?

You mention that you are using a Mac with MTC, but you don't tell us what type of cutter you are using.  Also, are you cutting vinyl with or without a mat?  And, please check your registration under the MTC Help menu to be sure there isn't a problem there.  You should see your name in that box if the program is registered to you.

Before cutting try applying Flatten Paths to the design to see if that makes a difference. You might want to use the test pen on paper to verify that everything completes. If that doesn't fix it, then look at the Data Throttle setting. Perhaps changing that will alleviate the issue.
