I wanted this tree in a pop up card. It would copy but the minute I tried to crop one edge there was a message about some unforeseen error and PCS closes up. Is it a correct assumption that there are too many cuts in this for PCS? I had no problem with the shadow but I didn't want a shadow. Or is it that after cropping there just isn't enough material left to attach?

Well back to the drawing board. Thanks all for verifying it is my computer, not PCS.

I have it set to notify me .They did their best to hide this option
It appear i will have to revisit those setting as Now every time it detects updates are available it pops up a message in the middle of the screen with only one option "Get updates" it does not allow you to do anything else until you click that
so I click "Get updates" and then have to cancel the updates on the next screen it i want to postpone them..

Cutting with 18" Silver Bullet and a KNK Force (the rest are collecting dust!)
I have not upgraded to windows 10 yet - I relly do not like windows - and lately not a fan of apple either.
P. S. @Andy I sure do agree AVG is very expensive and they want me to buy more and more stuff but for a non-computer person I guess it's necessary!
this even more so as it appears to be bugs in the code cause the application to be flagged as incompatible. My guess would be that there would be settings to prevent windows doing this its just know were to find where they hid them

if you have a previous restore point, you might try setting your windows back to that to get back mtc capability. If you set your internet connection to metered then windows 10 will not update on its own in the future. I think there is also another setting that you can set to let you decide when to update. Windows 10 doesn't seem to give the user as much control or choices as windows 7. I only had a windows 10 computer for a short time be for we returned it and then fixed our old laptop instead, so I cannot check the last item for sure. I also do not know if you can uninstal a previous update like you can in windows 7. Did you try to uninstal and reinstal MTC? Sometimes virus software also breaks perfectly good software and a clean instal makes it whole again.
Check to see if you video card drive is the latest from the manufacturer
I have Window 10 Pro and haven't had a issue with updates causing the issues you have
On windows 10 pro there is a way to get to similar options like win 7 . don't download download don't install /advise when updates are available etc using the Using Group Policy Editor which is not available on windows home but the is some webpages saying it can be installed on window 10 home

P. S. And now after hours MTC is working. I really do not get it. I am starting to really dread Tuesdays, wondering what they will come up with next.
not sure if that will help diagnose the issue but maybe worth a try

Sometimes windows will set a recovery point automatically prior to installing an update, but it is good practice to do so manually if you are going to add some new programs.
Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, and then select Control Panel.
Search Control Panel for Recovery.
Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver, or update, and then select Next > Finish.
