For those of you looking for a practical project, how about making a tool holder box for your Zing. My box came out really great and I can't tell you how happy I am with it. Click You can get the files for 2 different versions of the box from my blog at http://diecutgirl.blogspot.com/2012/04/free-zing-tool-holder-box-mtc-cut-files.html. Both of the file were made using MTC.

Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think about it. Hope you had a Zingy Monday!

    That's a great idea!
I recently glued a couple stacked circles of fun foam to the top of my old craftrobo. I bought the new silhouette one piece blade assembly and was constantly losing the cap/blade adjuster. Now it is always ready. I like having the tools handy like that.
If/when I get a zing I will absolutely make a tray like yours for tools! I like how the Zing has a flat top that you can add a tray like that.

Great idea, and it is made from multiple cuts of poster board if I read right.

Yes, 7 layers of poster board actually. It really quite tough. I was able to cut it from 2 pieces of poster board which I get at the dollar store 2 for $1.00. The whole project cost well under $3.00. It did take some time to glue all the layers together, but I think that's what makes it so strong.

You should say when I get a Zing, not if. I love your idea. I hate it when I can't find the tools I want.
