Problems with make the cut

I hope someone can help me figure out what is going on with my Make the Cut. For the last week my program has be acting up. When I try to resize some shape, the program won't let me resize to the smallest size I want. My layer bar and my virtual mat bar just all of a sudden moved side by side. When I go to open a file it opens up a full screen of my projects instead of just a small window. When I try to copy and trace a shape, again the full screen opens up.  When I try to move pieces around they jump around. Has anyone else had these problems? Please let me know if anyone can tell me what is going on. Thanking you for any help in advance.

    The resize issue and the jumping around maybe that you have snapping set on the main tool bar
    you should be able to drag the layer bar and dock it to the main tool bar
    click and hold on the top of the layer bar and drop in the space below the main bar

    Are you using windows ?
    If windows  to correct the window sizes try right clicking on the top bar of the window and then click restore

    Thank you so much. I fixed both of those problems. Never had that happen. Hopefully someone will know about my other issues. Thanks again.

    @joaniems
    Another user shared some interesting information in a previous post.  He said that you can easily import SVG files from many sources by tracing it again and saving that as an SVG.

    I think if you use a screen capture program like SnagIt, or if you use a raster image program that can save a screen cap, you could save that as a jpg or png and then use MTC's tracing feature to import it and save it as an SVG.  That will make it the correct DPI (90).

    You also might try resetting the MTC interface to factory specs.  It's under Help, Advanced.
