If you could have only one KNK Cutter, which one would you choose?

I got the Zing Air last year...my first love. But, now ready to add to the family. Interest leads me to The Force, I like the dual heads, but wondering if SCAL is much different than MTC.
Also, how the heck do I get rid of that annoying “You’ve asked questions that now have answers” tab at the bottom of this forum page? Many thanks!

I have both the original Zing and the Force. If I had to choose only one, it would be the Force, but I still use my Zing as much as it, switching between the 2 depending on which materials I am cutting.

@Liz_A , C3 uses whatever cut order was created in the originating software. Thus, if the file was created in MTC, then the cut order should match exactly how it would cut from MTC.  I would very much like to test your file, especially given that you most likely cut from both MTC to your MA and from C3 to your Force.  Do you still have the MTC file you used?

@SandyMcC - likely I do have the file, I don't delete much =) however, I don't remember which one it was, :( I'll go through my files and see if I can pin it down based on the timeframe.

PS pretty darn sure that C3 did not follow the same cut order as MTC, LOL!

I'll run some tests again.  I checked and verified this originally but we've had a lot of C3 updates since then. Something must have changed.

I'd like the new Zing Fantasy, which has not been released and probably never will be.  It is a blade cutter/laser cutter with a 14 inch Z-axis and a max cutting width of 84 inches, using just a 15 inch wide table.  You can use a mat or no mat as you wish.  Mats with magic adhesive that is always just the right amount of sticky without ever needing to be refreshed will be available for pennies.  It also has multiple built-in 3D extrusion nozzles and can be easily set up to work with any tablet at any time.  Using Star Trek technology it can materialize any material for cutting (or eating) at any time, at no extra cost.  And, should the need arise, it has attachments for deep embossing, metal cutting up to .5 inches thick using water jet technology and UV screen printing technology for glass etching on demand.  Best of all, there is a small time circuit included so you can go back and redo anything as though it never happened.  No price has been released yet.

@Liz_A, that's called the "3 Stooges" accessory.  It can perform an eye poke, a face slap or an iron to the top of the head.  But due to liability issues, it may not make it to the final manufacturing date. :)

@Gabe - I love your dry sense of humour. I think all devices should have protection from the errant user built in, ha ha! We have become immune to that error, error sound that the computer makes, or like Macs, the bonging sound. So funny...I walked past a user who was doing that one day, and it brought to mind the expression of the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results...of course I didn't say that in my out loud voice =).

@Liz_A  - I'm a gov't employee for 30 years.  Doing the same thing repeatedly, and expecting something to magically change for no particular reason besides fervent hope, that's called "day to day operations."  Old saying for gov't employees...

@Crazy_Mr_Zing, that would put a whole new slant on using a digital cutter.  "Why haven't you made any cards for the last 4 months?"  "Because my machine keeps hitting me and I just would rather avoid that!"

@Gabe - lol yes I can understand that alright. I come from a major Canadian government city...very government employee heavy.
