Hi, yes it gets complicated in some ways.  MTC is a design program for producing svg files for cutting machines.  It's a bit long in the tooth now but has some great features.  I've never found a better program for tracing - it is supreme.  Go get the free download and trial it.  If you like it then purchase it but you will not be able to use it to cut or save until it is registered it just lets you play but nothing else.  This Forum is mostly crafters who use various cutters, mainly KNK but other ones as well and who share information and problems which one or more of us will try to resolve.  We are a friendly bunch and no question is considered a silly question except the one you do not ask.  How else do we get an answer.   Please you've chosen to join us.

Just noticed you use a cameo - - so do I, although I have now graduated to the Force.  I use MTC to cut direct to my Cameo never got on with the program that came with it.

Which is a software program that has worked with a variety of cutters including the original Silhouettes through the Cameo 2.  It does not work with the newer cameos however. This is the support forum for the users of that program.
