Likely this has been covered and I don't know what to look for.
Boolean join will subtract one part from another. If I were to put a circle inside a square and subtract the circle I would have a hole in the middle of the square. Got that part.
I wish to offset a circle on a square and end up with something that looks like a piece of bread. I want to keep the area covered by both the circle and the square and remove the overhanging edges of both the circle and the square.
I want to keep the area common to both.
any ideas? I am building a flange for my bathroom fan, the hose is round and the fan exhaust is square. Of course I need to offset the hose to allow for the wall!
I took the Short Bus to school because they told me it was "Faster".
