when I am cutting letters on vinyl, and then pulling the negative away, my letters stay on the vinyl that is being peeled off.  I try to use my weeder, but it only stretches and damages it.  please help, very frustrated.

@apaschal - sounds like maybe your blade is not sharp enough. Trying changing the blade out for a new one, or slowing the speed down and doing two passes.

This is often an issue if the letters are small. That's why vinyl sign companies won't weed small letter projects until after the vinyl is applied to the final surface... such as a glass window of a store.  It's much easier at that point because the adhesive on the vinyl will affix firmly to that kind of surface versus the original backing sheet where it is NOT meant to be permanent.  Is this an option in your application?

I have had this same problem when I change vinyls, some are invisibly thicker.
I always do a test cut after changing so I can alter depth of cut.
I took the Short Bus to school because they told me it was "Faster".
