PopUp Card Studio is running really slow!!!!!

Hi,
I have not used PCS in a while.  When I opened it up it is running really slow and not responding at times.  Everything is up to date.  I am running Windows 10, intel I7 2.4GHs, 16GB RAM, 64 bit operating system.  NVIDIA Ge-force GTX950M with 4GB graphics.  Not sure why it is running so slow.  I am using Illustrator CC and Coral and not having a problem.  Any Help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sharon

Maybe close down programs you are not using, especially graphics one, they tend to be memory hogs and are slow to release the resources for other programs to use.

Mine is extremely slow too; driving me crazy.  Closing everything else doesn't help and my CPU is only about 25%.  It's slow even an a brand new file with nothing in it.

If it intermittent It might be that windows 10 is downloading or installing updates in the background that seems to slow everything thing on my system ?

The amount of detail on you card could also be and issue you could try flattening paths and also simplifying before bringing shapes in from MTC

I was thinking about why my last file should be so slow compared to many more layered files in PCS gallery.  Mine had several shapes with many squiggly lines (bush tops) and small tree leaves.  Thinking maybe that is the difference.  Will try flattening paths next time.  Don' much care for simplifying so far:  it wants to change shapes.
