So you set the blade origin
then click cut project and the blade just moves back to the home position

-What mode are you cutting knife point , wysiwyg or print and cut ?
    - when you set the blade origin try how far left have you moved the blade from the home position ?

-when you click cut project does the  window with the data progress bar appear?

Finally have you tried a different file sometime the can be what i call rouge nodes that want to sent the blade out of the bounds of the machine cutting area therefore the carriage hit the end limit switches

if you wish you could attach the mtc file and someone will take a look at your file

either drag and drop your file into the forum message or use the attach button as indicated below

There is a bug in the Zing plugin that might be causing this.

As a test.... I want you to try again, but when setting the origin, do not use the up/down arrows.  You can use the left/right arrows to move the head as needed. But actually raise the pinch wheel bar to slide the mat in or out as needed to do that part of setting the origin.  Then, see if your shape will cut.

If doesn't work, please post back. If it does work, then note that you'll need to manual slide the mat in the future. Now, you can go back to using the up/down arrows but don't move the mat a long distance... as in several inches.

One more thing... you might want to update your plugin, just in case you haven't done that in a while. The original plugin had another bug that's related to this one. You definitely couldn't move the mat more than one inch up/down.

Ok, I don't know where to update, I was looking for that yesterday but was unsuccessful.  I was able however to come in this morning and recreate the image in a new page and it cut it fine.  But I still think I need to update, been a long time. Thanks for the feedback everyone!  Happy cutter again. LOL
