Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. I am doing a print and cut on my zing air. I've done the calibrating and I can cut the image, but it cuts each piece of the image instead of the outline. What am I not turning on or off in this process. Thank you for any help.

If you have internal parts that you need to print but not cut, then you need to turn off that layer after printing and before cutting. If those parts are not on their own separate layer, then definitely select them and then click on the icon at the bottom of the Layer Bar that will move them.

If the parts you want to print or not cut extend outside of the boundaries of the cut lines, then you'll need to add something larger to the overall project that you can send to print AND cut. This is the only way to keep the reg marks from moving when you turn off the layer to not cut.

Refer to the scenarios in Section 9.06 for more details. And feel free to post back if you still have problems.

Thank you Sandy, I knew it was something simple like that, but I just couldn't think what it was. I had a brain freeze. Thank you very much.

I finally decided to save my print and cut file to SVG and take it into the Sil software to do the print and cut. No matter what I did with the settings in MTC, I could not get consistent results. The print and cut in DE works and I can still keep my SVG files without losing them to the proprietary .sil format. That's what's working for me for my current project requiring 100 print and cut cards.
