Thanx, Julie. I need to get off my duff and start cutting. I'm running out of room for cutters still in boxes. Think it's time to sell some ;) Brenda, shivering down I-5 from you.
@juliefes here is my file...it only took me 3 hours to do the tutorial...lol...oh do i hate tutorials....do not take offense please....would have taken 5 mins if i could see it..lol....but i am proud as it is my first tutorial from instructions...so you did exceptionally well ....thanks julie
@juliefes Thank you for the tutorial. No problems with copying your design, but doing one by myself phew! but here it is. Not cut it yet, it might fall to pieces
@linda4900 not sure how others do it - you can do a screen shot of your MTC mat... or what I do is select all in MTC and export to a raster image - and save as a jpeg and name the file then post it same as you would your MTC file - you can chose to "insert image" to make it bigger than a thumbnail...
@juliefes... So, I thought if this works with circles, will it work with other shapes? I used an oval and a square with round corners. Used a flower image, here is the result:
Thanks so much for the tutorial Julie...I'm off to dl it now. You are soooooo good to us. Awesome work everyone. Hope I can create something as good once I work through the tute!
@juliefes I think I will come up...probably in April. It was 2 years ago in April (for my birthday present to me). I don't think I've used a machine since. I do have a nice area to put my computer, cutter of choice and printer. I think I'll try to tackle the Cameo on my own. I think I want to work with the Zing and the Cameo. Gonna sell the Gazelle. How much was the new motherboard?
I don't think getting the new motherboard is worth it if you are cutting from MTC. I still have to do some more testing. Let me know when in April you want to come, so I can get you on my calendar. It fills up fast!
@juliefes Thanks so much for the webinar tutorial this morning. I have been playing around with this all afternoon and have come up with some awesome patterns. Scrolls and flourishes also work really well although I'm not sure how well they will cut as some of them become pretty intricate and may just be candidates for Print and Cut. Forgot to also say thank you to @Andy for this great feature in MTC.
