I bought a dif sprayer and it works alot better then the air eraser. It holds more grit and can get things done alot faster. Here are some picture frame glass that I dont for a girl. The glass she says is about 100 yr old so I was scared I was going to break it. But I didn't. She is hanging them in her bathroom. Not sure what the frame looks like. imageimageimage

Thanks. I bought this one. I had to buy a new hose and a filter but I love it. Didn't think it would work with the grit but it does. Sometimes I have to play with it to get it started but when it does watch out. lol I should have gotten the one with the screw on lid cause this one is hard to get off sometimes.

    I love the glass work!

I went with my DH's air compressor and use a slightly higher pressure than the air eraser calls for and it works well. The biggest problem is that I don't have a moisture trap on the line, so it clogs easily.

Thanks for the information! I never would have thought to have tried to use the grit in a paint sprayer The glass looks great!

What pressure were you using with this? I thought it was rated lower than the air eraser...? And I thought this said to only use paint (not that THAT has ever stopped any of US, but I'm just so curious if this continues to be the Cat's Meow...LOVE the idea of the larger "vat"!! Thx for the nudge to get back to HF...tee hee hee.

Those are so cool. I love the one with the water pump. It reminds me of Helen Keller and she is my idol. If I may ask, where did you get the file. I would like to have something in my house with that image. Again great job!

@Mariel014, I am finding that in THIS craft, we don't always have to/want to listen to the sellers, but do what our fellow crafters are doing...it seems it DOES work.

Eraser say 65psi max. Try buy this many times say not work. So should just ignore and buy?

I bought a similar model from HF over the weekend and I saw you said you replaced the hose and filter and was wondering why and which one did you get? I am on my 3rd air eraser from HF and I am too impatient to wait for how slow it is when it is working! They had the same gun you purchased but with 20oz cup for $15 so that is the one I picked up. I am also curious if you are still using the bigger one.

find a compressor that gets to atleast 100psi and 3 gallon volume...these are the specs of the pancake type

bigger gun you'll need a bigger compressor, the pancake can't keep up with the air consumption. I went through a few of those AE as well and on second larger gun http://www.harborfreight.com/gravity-feed-blaster-gun-93221.html. Took a project down from 15+ minutes per piece down to 2 minutes.
