Rumors about MAC MTC ~ Is there an ETA?

I really want to purchase 2 new cutters......... and rearrange my scraproom room........ To get things organized the way I want, I would love to be able to use my MAC...... Is there an ETA for MacMtc? I don't mind waiting, I just want to know there is light at the end of the tunnel. I would love to be able to use my current cutters (gazelle and pazzles) on my Mac; and, I dont want to purchase my 2 new cutters until the MacMtc is ready. Tia

Andy has learned not to give dates because if he misses them people get really upset with him. I can tell you it's coming soon and I know he's working out some kinks before he releases it. We aren't very good with patience around here but it will be done and will be fantastic.

P.s. in the meantime, running it in parallels/windows 7 works awesome. I know some people don't like doing it that way but I run in coherence mode and it feels/ looks like I'm running it right out of Mac.

Andy said at the last webinar that he has it working with the Zing but that was it. He said to send him a message if we had a zing and he would send us a link to it. I sent him the message but have not gotten anything back.

Well, since Zing is one of the cutters I plan on ordering....... that sounds wonderful :-) Thanks so much for your responses. I certainly understand about not giving a date, I just wanted to know if it was close....... :-)

Things are running fine on my Win7 machine....... I just would like to use my Mac in my craftroom...... thanks so much for the suggestion. I can wait :-) I just bought Cutter #1 on my wishlist..... I can play with that will I wait for the Zing to be Mac-READY :-)

I have a MAC and a Zing and would love to have the link as well. Would love to test this out and give input if that is what Andy is looking for.

I totally understand your frustration, but knowing him, he is working out the kinks still. He may have found some ways to make it better and doesn't want to release it until he's happy with it. It will be worth the wait, I promise.

For those who would like the link, you are more likely to get a response if you email or pm Andy for the link for the Beta testing version. He does not monitor all the discussions of the forum so it is unlikely that he is reading this discussion.
