Great projects everyone!! Trish, your shape card is just too cute, I won't have even thought to use those for a shape card, great idea!! Nelda, the paper clip bookmark is just too cute, another awesome idea!! Love these challenges.
I've decided to take this year's challenge and use them to teach my 9 year old daughter. I designed the base of this card (the bottom half opens) and she designed the bee. Can you tell we don't always think alike? LOL! But we both love being creative and the challenges help me when I struggle to come up with something to do with her. I'm teaching her how to use MTC with the Sil SD. She's a quick learner and will probably be teaching me before I know it! Oh, and she REALLY wants these to be a competition and not just challenges! She's got a bit of a competitive spirit. And that's where we are a LOT alike!
Well, I didn't make a card either...I just couldn't help but turn these guys into a cute glass etching pattern. I want to use them with tea lights out on my lanai, what better companions that dragonflies and butterflies in the garden. I am kind of afraid to start working with paper....I have enough trouble going to work in the morning as it is, thinking of all the fun things I could be doing. Each time I see a design or project posted, my mind immediately starts thinking about how I could use it in an etch design.Thank you Kristi and Val.
I am so impressed! You all did beautiful work! I am so in for the next one!
