Has anyone had any experience w/cutting Contact Brand Self-Adhesive Natural Cork w/the Cricut Expressison? It is approximately 2 cm thick. Since I'm not very experienced w/the Cricut, I'm reluctant to try it. Don't want to mess up the Cricut.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I did and it was rough. I used the regular blade and it did not cleanly cut the image on the cork...so I purchased the deep cut blade but have yet to try it again. I've read in the forums somewhere that with a thicker paper to do a multi cut with the regular blade.

I'm still new to all this, but thought I'd let you know my trial and error. :)

I don't have the deep cut blade, so guess I'll give it a try w/the regular blade and a multicut. Thanks for the help. I'll let you know how it turns out. I've made some tile coasters and want to put the cork on the back.

The adhesive cork on the back give the coaster a nice finished look. I use my Omnigrid ruler, cutting mat and rotary cutter to cut out the cork for the back...if you have these tools I would go that route. I was acutally cutting words in the cork, large letters but that may have been the reason for how rough it cut. Maybe a square will be an easier cut?

Let me know if it works for you. I may try it tomorrow...curiousity is up now to see if it will work better with the other blade. Will post here what I find out~ :D Thanks!

Well it didn't work w/the regular blade. I'm gonna get a deep cut blade and give it a try. I was at Hobby Lobby today and found some 4x12 adhesive backed cork sheets. I can cut these on my cutting mat w/the Xacto knife. I will let you know how the deep cut blade works on the other cork.
